Indonesia Batik for Queen Elizabeth II
During the occasion of Indonesia Week! at Potters Fields in London, Mr. Dipo Alam founder of the Indonesia Batik Foundation presented a batik painting of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness Duke of Edinburgh, together with a book dedicated to Indonesia woman batik artisan, in Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, the 31st of May 2016 at 10-am BST (or 4-pm WIB Indonesia time).
The gifts are part of the Queen’s 90th birthday, celebrated on 21st April, the same day as Indonesia celebrates Kartini Day,
